This Sterile-grade PTFE Pleated Cartridge Filter Series is engineered for critical gas filtration applications, utilizing a biaxially oriented microporous polytetrafluoroethylene membrane as the core media. The membrane exhibits strong natural hydrophobicity, preventing moisture from wetting the pores and maintaining stable gas permeability even in humid conditions. The cartridge incorporates polypropylene support layers, outer cage, and end caps, reinforced with a stainless steel inner core rod for enhanced compressive strength. Seal materials include silicone, fluororubber, and EPDM to suit various process conditions. Each unit delivers high porosity with low flow resistance, achieving exceptional gas throughput while maintaining a maximum operating temperature of 80°C and supporting repeated steam sterilization at 121°C for 30 minutes per cycle. Pressure ratings reach 0.42MPa forward and 0.24MPa reverse at 25°C, with every filter undergoing 100% integrity testing prior to shipment to guarantee reliable bacterial retention.

Endotoxin levels remain below 0.25 EU/mL, and all raw materials comply with USP Class VI biological safety standards, ensuring no extractables or harmful substance migration occur during use. While Silicon Carbide Ceramic Membranes and other Inorganic Membranes excel in high-temperature liquid-solid separation, this PTFE series is specifically optimized for gas-phase sterile applications. Unlike Ceramic Membrane Gas-Solid Separation Equipment which targets high-temperature dust removal from flue gases, this cartridge focuses on low-temperature sterile gas polishing. For facilities requiring both liquid and gas purification, Liquid Filtration & Purification systems can be complemented with this gas-rated filter for comprehensive process protection. The hydrophobic membrane also serves as an effective VOCs Recovery Membrane for certain solvent-laden gas streams, preventing liquid carryover.
